To create the V-Skin gloves Samshield has followed the same strategy as when they created the successful Premium helmet:

• Analyze existing product on the market • Make a large survey with plenty of riders before to start the design

All riders answered that they would like improvement regarding durability, breathability, grip, flexibility, thinness, design.

The mission was to create a glove that would answer to these requirements.

The Heritage Utility Work glove was developed to help you handle the chores around the barn as well as a good glove for grooming your horse. Made to our specifications of a stretch nylon knit that conforms to your hand for an excellent fit. It is also very light weight and breathable. The glove has a special rubberized coated that gives durability and grip.

Enjoyed by many of our top athletes, the Pro-Comp Show glove is an excellent blend between natural leather and technically advanced materials. While the palm side of this glove gives you the natural feel and control of soft, top grade leather, the top provides the superior flexibility and breathability of our special materials and design.

The X-Country glove was developed to meet the high level of competition use for Eventing and Endurance riders. This glove has excellent grip on the reins and a breathable mesh material on the back for ventilation on the Cross Country course or out on the trail.

Our basic 100% cotton knit riding glove is a lightweight alternative with reinforced PVC dot pattern on the palm for increased grip and control of the reins.

This show glove is the first of its kind to be fully ventilated with a mesh top and air holes on the palm side of the glove. This glove is made with the best grade of soft Cabretta sheepskin leather.

Backhand: ECONYL® Yarn Palmhand: Roeck-AIR

The Melbourne was designed with eventers in mind. It has a long double-layer cuff and no Velcro for a bulk free wrist area, and allows one to wear a watch over their glove. The backhand is made with ECONYL® yarn, which is made entirely from regenerated nylon waste (such as fishing nets) and is infinitely recyclable without sacrificing quality. The palm is made of Roeck-Air, a thin but hard wearing material designed for both grip and breathability.

The Madrid has a sporty but elegant look with technical materials for high performance. The backhand is a combination of lightweight, soft Micro Mesh for cool comfort and a rugged mesh cuff. For the palm, Drytec G5 with Slip Stop keeps the hand comfortable, maintaining tactility and grip.

The Mendon has a backhand of elastic, breathable Lycra which not only looks beautiful, but also absorbs humidity, providing a comfortable climate inside the glove. The palm is Roeck-Grip® with a thumb of Drytec G5 for improved grip. Middle, ring, and pinky fingers have an additional wear patch on the top of each finger to protect from rubbing.
